The longer version.

I joined Empire Life in Group Insurance and later moved into the Corporate PMO. I am now Empire Life's internal project lead for the Projects, Time and Expense, and Procurement workstreams in the Workday Finance implementation.

KPMG leads the wider implementation. I manage Empire Life's side of these workstreams and the day-to-day work with KPMG. The MVP is live, and I am helping Corporate Finance through its first quarter-end on Workday.

I also managed KPMG's work in Workiva to automate most fund reporting and add cross-checks across Empire Life's funds.

Earlier, I was the program manager for New Business and Retention, working across a $23 million portfolio.

• Worked with Product and Actuarial to correct the QDIPC calculation method. We estimated the change would stop roughly $2 million a year in overpayments.
• Led planning, QA and user acceptance testing for the backend behind Empire Life's current Canada-wide plan-member portal and mobile app.
• Led the selection and implementation of ClaimVantage, Majesco's Salesforce-based system for life and disability claims, including the RFP, RFQ, vendor negotiations and delivery.
• Developed a hybrid delivery framework that became the enterprise standard and reduced systemic delivery delays by 17%.

I taught agile delivery and stakeholder management to working professionals alongside my role at Empire Life.

The largest piece of work was a $35M acquisition, which I ran from letter of intent through execution. I also worked on valuation and due diligence for other deals, took on operations for a period, and helped set up custody governance for $76M in customer assets.

I ran a national hardware replacement across 310 stores, including locations in the Yukon. At the same time, I worked with a team of 25 on an internal merchandising application used across 303 stores.

I joined as a coordinator and was promoted five times in four years.

The work changed a lot over that period. I ran client pilots, helped form the PMO, managed teams, and kept five client contracts through a merger. Those contracts represented $77M in revenue over seven years.

I also helped set up data-mining operations in Egypt and the Philippines. By the end, I had spent six months running client services and had 17 direct reports.
